Every Tuesday, Johns Hopkins shows up.
On October 6, the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing joined our food distribution and gave free flu shots to the neighborhood.
What happened
At the Mr. Mack Lewis Foundation, we’re more than boxing. Every Tuesday, we unload the boxes, unpack the food, and hand it out to everyone in line.
The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing joins us every Tuesday. This week, they hosted a free flu clinic. Right here in the gym, neighbors got their flu shots, free of charge.
Afterwards, they stayed to help pass out food to local community members. From the first box unloaded to the last car packed, it’s people showing up for people.
