Maryland Safe Haven's Workforce Development Program is running a free 4-week Medical Assistant course, starting the first week of August. Turn 4 to 6 weeks into a career. Everything is at no cost to you: - Free tuition - Paid books - Transportation assistance - Hands-on training - Certificate of completion You can also earn your high school diploma at no cost, and receive an official high school diploma plus two official transcripts. Program structure: - 12 classes - 28 assignments - Self-paced, with flexible and supportive learning What you will learn: - Clinical and administrative skills - Patient care and vital signs - Medical terminology - EKG, phlebotomy and more - Real-world training for real opportunities Spaces are limited — email to reserve a place.
