Mentoring
Every participant is matched with a consistent mentor — a positive adult presence who provides guidance, accountability, and encouragement across the school year.
Scholarships
We award scholarships to exceptional East Baltimore youth who demonstrate academic commitment and community involvement, helping them access higher education.
Goal Setting
Students work with mentors to set academic and life goals, track progress, and build the self-efficacy that drives long-term success.
College Prep
Older youth receive support with college applications, SAT/ACT preparation, financial aid guidance, and career exploration.
STEM Enrichment
Hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities expose youth to STEM fields and help them see themselves in those careers.

Our Partnership
Johns Hopkins comes to the community.
Through our partnership with Johns Hopkins University, East Baltimore youth have access to tutoring from some of the nation's best university students — right in their own neighborhood.
Hopkins student volunteers bring academic expertise, energy, and mentorship. For many East Baltimore youth, these relationships are their first sustained connection with higher education — planting seeds that grow into aspiration.
The Foundation coordinates, trains, and supports all volunteers to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for every student enrolled in the program.
Learning in Action
Education changes everything.
